Ramsey County has the <br />following comments regarding access and traffic flow for the site plan. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />1. Ramsey County previously reviewed a deyelopment plan for this site in June. At that time the <br />proposed development was an office building with access on both County Road E2 and <br />Cleveland Avenue. The proposed development has now been revised to a 30-unit apartment <br />complex on the site. Access is proposed from Cleveland Avenue. <br /> <br />2. Both Cleveland A venue and County Road E2 are county roadways under the jurisdiction of <br />Ramsey County. The traffic count on County Road E2 is 7650 vehicles per day. The traffic <br />count on Cleveland Avenue is 3125 vehicles per day. These are 1999 traffic counts taken by <br />Ramsey County Public Works. Additional traffic generated by this development will not <br />cause operational problems on Cleveland A venue or County Road E2 and should not have a <br />detrimental impact on the county road system. <br /> <br />3. A single access point is proposed for Cleveland Avenue. This access point should be located <br />as far south on the property as possible. This will provide the maximum separation between <br />the driveway and the intersection. Minimum driyeway width is 26 feet. <br /> <br />4. A permit from Ramsey County will be required for all work in the County right-of-way. <br /> <br />Thanks for the opportunity to make comments regarding this issue.
