Ms. Chaput stated the applicant was aware of the conditions and indicated no <br />concerns have been noted to date. <br /> <br />Chair Baker indicated he felt the proof of parking was a little shaky at this time with Flaherty's <br />Arden Bowl. He asked that the applicant provide the City with a more concrete agreement <br />between the two parties to show proof ofthe number of additional parking stalls provided off <br />site. Mr. Unrah indicated he would work on this issue with Flaherty's, <br /> <br />Chair Baker questioned if the addition to the existing structure would match the current building <br />materials. Mr. Unrah stated the materials would be similar in style and texture, <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman moved, seconded by Commissioner Sand, to recommend approval of <br />Plalliling Case #01,01, Site Plan Review, for Corporate Express at 1233 West County Road E, <br />with the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 3. <br /> 4. <br />. 5, <br /> 6. <br /> 7. <br /> <br />I. The dock addition must be no closer than 18 feet from the year property line; <br />2. All parking stalls and drive aisles must be set back five feet from the property line; therefore, <br />the six parking stalls and drive aisle proposed at the rear of the building must be eliminated, <br />the area reconfigured to meet the Ordinance and the parking stalls relocated on site; <br />No additional landscape area may be taken for parking space reconfiguration; <br />The applicant must accommodate two additional handicap parking stalls on site (total of four) <br />as per the Building Code; <br />All fencing must be located within the property lines, constructed of chain, link to a height <br />acceptable to the applicant and agreed to by staff; electric and barb wire fencing is not <br />permitted; and <br />Application for a building permit must be made with the Building Inspector. <br />The applicant will provide an agreement between Corporate Express and Flaherty's Arden <br />Bowl stating the number of additional parking stalls provided off site. <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (6,0). <br /> <br />This Planning Case will be reviewed at the Monday, February 26,2001, City Council meeting. <br /> <br />PLANNING CASE # 01-02 - GUIDANT CORPORATION - PUD AMENDMENT/SITE <br />PLAN REVIEWIHEIGHT VARIANCE - 4100 HAMLINE AVENUE - PUBLIC <br />HEARING <br /> <br />Chair Erickson opened the public hearing at 7:51 p.m, <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Ms. Chaput explained that the applicant is requesting an amendment to Guidant's Master <br />Planned Unit Development for a change in the location of a parking ramp, as it exists on the <br />current Master PUD, and a two level office addition, Building 1. She noted application for site <br />plan review of the proposed parking ramp has also been made. Ms. Chaput stated the proposed <br />ramp exceeds the maximum height permitted in the 1,1 Zoning District, requiring a height <br />vanance. <br /> <br />Ms. Chaput indicated the Plalliled Unit Development (PUD) for the CPI campus was originally <br />approved by the City in July of 1991 in Planning Case 89,10 and later amended with Planning <br />
