<br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />~ <br />EN HILLS <br /> <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Joe Lynch, City Administrator <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Pavement Management Plan <br /> <br />DATE: August 6, 2001 <br /> <br />cc: Pavement Management File <br /> <br />The following is a summary of the Pavement Management Plan discussion at your regular City <br />Council Meeting on July 30, 2001: <br /> <br />(The following outcomes were agreed to at your June 11,2001, PMP Meeting and also listed in <br />the July 27, 2001, Pavement Management Program Memorandum to you.) <br /> <br />. The standard for all street should be 9 tons. <br /> <br />. Collector Streets should be 32 feet wide and should have B 6-18 curb and gutter. <br /> <br />. Local streets should be 28 foot wide should and have B 6-12 or B 4-12 curb and <br />gutter. <br /> <br />. Non-through or cul-de-sac streets should be 26 feet wide with 4" surmountable, <br />adjustable curb height <br /> <br />. For aesthetics, it was agreed neighborhoods should petition the City Council for <br />street lighting in conjunction with Pavement Management reconstruction. <br /> <br />. The general consensus was that sidewalks should attempt to have connection to <br />trail ends and/or park entrances. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On non-through or cul-de-sac streets no striping is planned. On local or collector <br />streets appropriate striping should be planned. <br />
