Moore; Acting Public Works Director T TIM. <br /> <br />FROM: <br /> <br />SUBJECT: <br /> <br />Public Works Second Quarter Report <br /> <br />Staff have responded to 42 after hour 'CaIl Outs' <br />Staff have made 239 visits to resident homes and in the process traveled 780 miles, <br />Hired two summer part time workers. <br />Completed spring street sweeping of the entire City <br />Lift Station #8, Ingerson Road & Hamliue A ve.North, was reconstructed <br />Crack sealing completed <br />Seal Coating of 26 streets was completed. Streets were swept clean by Staff. <br />24 mailboxes were repaired/replaced due to snowplow damage. <br />112 turf/curb areas were repaired due to snowplow damage. <br />100% staff participation in the City's 50th Anniversary Celebration. <br />Repaired 5 Sewer Line breaks <br />Repaired 4 Water Line breaks <br />Street repairs due to winter damage are proceeding, 50 % of the work has been <br />completed. Approximately 60 tons of asphalt has been used. <br />Storm water culvert was extended under Thorn Drive. <br />InstaIled new storm water catchbasin at the new City HaIl location, <br />Booster station received a maintenance check-up. <br />Removed fence from the new City Hall location. <br />InstaIled new storm water catchbasin on Venus Avenue. <br />InstaIled a safety video camera on the rear of Snowplow #110. The monitor is <br />located in the cab. AIlows the driver greater vision to rear. <br />Completed seasonal maintenance on all 14 Lift Stations. <br />Staff attended seminars/ workshops on; confined space, water, sewer, and <br />maintenance of Public Works vehicles. <br />
