<br />.~ <br /> <br />it <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />.l <br /> <br />~ g-3o-0J <br /> <br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />MEMORANDUM <br /> <br />DATE: August 21, 2001 <br /> <br />TO: Joe Lynch, City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Michael Cronin, Planning Consultant <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Presbyterian Homes <br />Lake Johanna and New Brighton Road <br /> <br />On August 14, Chuck Fullmer, the Development Consultant for Presbyterian Homes, met with <br />Dave, Terry and I, about the potential development of the parcel outlined on the attached map. <br /> <br />Presbyterian Homes seems to be taking the development route, no mention was made of the <br />development that did the properties across County Road D in Roseville, and they seem to want to <br />repeat the success they are having with a large mixed use development they are doing in <br />Stillwater. <br /> <br />As of August l4, this is the status of the project and the next steps: <br /> <br />1. Presbyterian Homes owns 3151 at the corner of New Brighton Road and Lake Johanna <br />Boulevard. <br />2. They have talked to everyone except 1850 Glen Paul about selling and they have been <br />positively received. <br />3. The county traffic people are excited about eliminating a five-way intersection and <br />extending Glen Paul through 3163. <br />4. There is a survey of this project in the planner's office. <br />5. They will test development alternatives and get back to us before talking to the Council <br />on neighbors. <br />6.
