Mayor Probst replied they had looked at <br />the cost previously and this had been budgeted for in the 2002 budget. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski requested they take another look at this, and indicated she would <br />agree to meet with the City Administrator aboul her concerns. <br /> <br />Mayor Probsl requested the City Council members discuss their issues with the Cily <br />Administrator, and that this issue would be further discussed at the April 15, 2001 worksession. <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATOR COMMENTS <br /> <br />There were no Administrator comments. <br /> <br />COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> <br />Councilmember Grant stated the Maintenance Facility Task Force would be meeting tomorrow <br />night at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson stated the Parks, Trails and Recreation meeting would also be tomorrow <br />evemng. <br /> <br />. Councilmember Rem stated the Newsletter Committee would be meeting on Wednesday. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst stated they were trying to arrange a meeting this Thursday with Senator Dayton's <br />office. He stated he had received a call from Alliant Tech regarding what they were doing at <br />TCAAP, and they might have some issues they would be bringing to Council. He stated they had <br />offered a tour of their facility to Council, and the City Administrator would arrange a time. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst stated they would adjourn the meeting to go into a special session to discuss the <br />City Administrator's evaluation. Mr. Lynch replied after consultation with the City Attorney, he <br />requested his evaluation be an open session. <br /> <br />The City Attorney read from the State Statutes as to what type of meetings could be closed. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst asked Council if they wanted to discuss the City Administrator's performance <br />evaluation now or at a future meeting. Mr. Lynch replied it was his option if he wanted this <br />discussed in an open or a closed session. <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson stated he would like to discuss this now. <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski requested a five-minute recess. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />Mayor Probst recessed the meeting at 10:24 p.m. and reconvened the meeting at 10:30 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION: <br /> <br />Councilmember Larson moved and Councilmember Aplikowski seconded a <br />motion extend the meeting to II :00 p.m. The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br />
