To reduce expenses, the Appendices of the document have not been included. <br />If you would like the appendices, please feel free to e-mail me at aaron.parrish(al,ci.arden- <br />hills.mn.us or leave me a voicemail (651-634-5125) over the weekend and I will make <br />arrangements to get them to you. In order to obtain final approval of the plan, the following <br />needs to occur: <br /> <br />1. Council review and comment of the document at the Worksession. Consider directing <br />staff to forward the plan to Rice Creek Watershed District for their approval. <br />2. Rice Creek Watershed District considers approval of the LSWMP. <br />3. Upon approval by Rice Creek, the City Council considers formal adoption of the plan. <br />4. Once the plan has been formally adopted, staff will submit the plan along with the Flood <br />Plain and Erosion and Sediment Control ordinances to the Metropolitan Council for final <br />approval of the City's Comprehensive Plan (The City was previously given a November <br />2001 deadline by the Metropolitan Council for final submission of the Comprehensive <br />Plan). <br /> <br />When the pubic comment draft ofthe LSWMP was distributed, the City received responses from <br />the Rice Creek Watershed District, Ramsey County Soil and Water Conservation District, and <br />the Metropolitan Council. Suggestions and comments received from the Rice Creek Watershed <br />District were incorporated into the final version of the LSWMP as appropriate. A draft letter <br />from the City Administrator to Rice Creek is included for your review, In addition, a letter to the <br />Ramsey County Soil and Water Conservation District will also be prepared. While the City is <br />not officially obligated to incorporate their suggestions, we have done so as appropriate. <br />
