<br />. <br />\ <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />~ <br />~~HILLS <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />~V:-.~~ <br /> <br />MEETING MINUTES <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MONDAY, MARCH 11,2002,4:45 P.M. <br />CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 1245 WEST HIGHWAY 96 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, Mayor Dermis Probst called to order the regular <br />City COllilcil meeting at 4:57 p.m. <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Dermis Probst, Councilmembers Beverly Aplikowski, David Grant, <br />and Gregg Larson. <br /> <br />Absent: <br /> <br />Councilmember Lois Rem. <br /> <br />Also present were City Administrator, Joe Lynch; City Accountant, Terrance Post; City <br />Plarmer, Aaron Parrish; and Interim Public Works Director and Parks & Recreation <br />Director, Thomas Moore. <br /> <br />ROTTLUND HOMES TCAPP PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Mayor Probst noted the reason for the meeting and welcomed those present to hear the <br />presentation by Rottlund Homes for TCAAP development. <br /> <br />Michael Noonan of David Bernard Homes introduced himself and expressed appreciation for the <br />opportunity to give the presentation, Todd Stutz of David Bernard Properties presented the <br />background of David Bernard Properties which is a division of Rottlund Homes. <br /> <br />Brian Fritz is the Development Manager for JPI, a multiple family unit developer. They are rental <br />housing developers only. Mr. Fritz cited a specific example of their ability to be involved in <br />multiple family development from Jefferson Estates at the conversion of the Lowry Air Force <br />Base, <br /> <br />John Mehrkens is with Presbyterian Homes Senior Housing Partners. They would be interested <br />in the senior housing component of the proposed development. <br /> <br />Murray Kornberg is with CSM Corporation, a St. Paul based development company for <br />commercial property. Their primary product is single story commercial development as well as <br />hospitality development (i,e., hotels and motels). Mr. Kornberg indicated that an example ofthe <br />type of development would be the Fair Isaac facility in Arden Hills. <br />
