<br />e <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL WORKSESSION MINUTES <br />MARCH 18,2002 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Rcm invited Staff Comments. <br /> <br />Mr, Parrish: Mr. Parrish indicatcd that we have received comments back from the Rice Creck <br />Watershed District regarding the approval of the Local Storm Watcr Managcment Plan, He <br />indicated that Rice Creek was proposing a conditional approval if the City was willing to complete <br />the feasibility studies identified in the plan. From staffs perspective, this is not acceptable, Council <br />directed staff to send a letter outlining the City's concerns. <br /> <br />Mr. Moore: Road weight restrictions lifted and street sweeping out in force this week; working on <br />parks and ballfield maintenance; gardens update; thanked City Council for donating trees. <br /> <br />Ms, Olson: Recreation Department was typically busy with Spring/Summer activities, <br /> <br />Administrator Lynch: City Hall terrazzo floor surfacing problems are being addressed, stating the <br />installer will rcpair/replace. <br /> <br />3. Council Comments <br /> <br />Council Member Aplikowski: neighbors upset over sign issue, will talk to Tom Moore, <br /> <br />Council Member Grant: Reported that the School Board met and decided that students that live <br />within two miles of the school can walk, or parents can elect to pay $200,00 - seems unfair in the <br />midst of the budget shortfall, Requested a letter to School Board to discuss at a City Council <br />meeting, <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Rem adjourned the meeting at 9:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, Cynthia Young-Deputy Clerk <br />
