<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3, 2002 <br />7:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY HALL <br /> <br />PLANNING <br />COMMISSION <br />MEETING EXCERPT <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chair Sand called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />Present were Chair David Sand, Commissioners Ken Bezdicek, Terri Duchenes, Therese <br />Galatowitsch, Brad Lemberg, Megan Ricke, and Clayton Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Absent: None. <br /> <br />Also present were Councilmember Beverly Aplikowski, City Planner Aaron Parrish, and <br />Recording Secretary Kathleen Altman. <br /> <br />SWEARING IN OF NEW PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Councilmember Aplikowski swore in Commissioners Bezdicek, Lemberg, and Ricke to the <br />Planning Commission. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON <br />March 6, 2002. <br /> <br />Commissioner Lemberg noted on page 2, last paragraph, change Chair Galatowitsch to <br />Commissioner Galatowitsch and on page 3, first paragraph change Chair Zimmerman to <br />Commissioner Zimmerman. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman moved, seconded by Commissioner Galatowitsch to approve <br />the March 6, 2002 minutes as amended. The motion carried unanimously (7-0). <br /> <br />CASE #02-03 - 44] 0 NORTH SNELLING, MINOR SUBDIVISION - PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />Chair Sand opened the public hearing at 7:37 p.m. <br /> <br />Staff reviewed their report dated March 21, 2002. Staff recommended approval of the <br />request based on the findings therein. <br /> <br />Commissioner Zimmerman inquired as to the amount ofthe park dedication fee. Mr. <br />Parrish stated one indicator would be by an independent appraisal. He indicated from <br />previous appraisals, it appeared the fee would be around $4,000.00, <br /> <br />Commissioner Ricke asked ifthere was a park dedication fee assessed against the lot <br />when they were combined the first time. Mr. Parrish stated he believed that was probably <br />divided prior to incorporation of the City, so a fee was probably not paid. <br />
