<br />City of Arden Hills <br />Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> <br />Resolution No. 02-23 <br /> <br />A Resolution Ordering Improvement <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Preparation of Plans and Specifications <br />For the Improvement of <br /> <br />Hunters Court and Waldon Place <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Resolution 02-22 was adopted by the Council the 28"' day of May, <br />2002, fIxed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of Hunters Court <br />and Waldon Place, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing <br />was given, and the hearing was held thereon on the 10" day of June, 2002, at which all <br />persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the <br />feasibility report. <br />2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the resolution adopted May 28, <br />2002. <br />3. Plans and specifIcations prepared by City Engineer Greg Brown for such <br />improvement pursuant to Council resolution, a copy of which plans and <br />specifIcations is attached hereto and made apart thereof, are hereby approved and <br />shall be filed with the City Clerk. <br />4. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper an <br />advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved <br />plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for 3 weeks, shall <br />specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and considered by <br />the Council at 10:00 a.m. on July 11, 2002 in the Council Chambers of City Hall, and <br />that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and <br />accompanied by cash deposit, cashier's check, bid bond, or certified check payable to <br />the Clerk for 10 percent (10%) of the amount of each bid. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
