<br />Subd. 5 Street Markers. All necessary street markers and traffic signs sball be

<br />installed.

<br />1140.04 Additional City Improvements.
<br />
<br />Subd. I General. It shall be the declared policy of the City to proceed as soon as
<br />
<br />practicable after final approval of a subdivisiou plat with installations within the
<br />
<br />subdivision of such improvements as may be determined to be necessary by the City
<br />
<br />Couucil, snch as central wells, water mains, street grading, street snrfacing, sanitary
<br />
<br />and storm sewers, water pumping and storage facilities and hydrants. The city
<br />
<br />engineer shall be directed to prepare plans and specifications for the same upon
<br />
<br />acceptauce of the final plat and shall submit his or her recommendations for the
<br />
<br />improvements, together with estimated costs, to the City Conncil. The Council may
<br />
<br />authorize preparation of plans and specifications by an engineer employed by the
<br />
<br />subdivider at his expense and under the direction and subject to the approval of the
<br />
<br />city engineer. Upon acceptance of the final plat the Council may commence assessment
<br />
<br />proceedings for the furnishing and constrnction of the improvements within the
<br />
<br />subdivision, and may order the improvements as it deems expedient and necessary.
