<br />. <br /> <br />City of Arden Hills <br />Job Description <br /> <br />POSITION: <br />DEPARTMENT: <br />REPORTS TO: <br /> <br />Office Support Specialist <br />Administration <br />Deputy Clerk <br /> <br />SUMMARY <br /> <br />Performs a variety of routine and complex clerical and secretarial work in providing <br />administrative support. <br /> <br />ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION <br /> <br />Prepares various types of correspondence including press letters, memos, reports, press <br />releases, City Council Packets, Legal Notices, promotional materials, etc. <br /> <br />Compiles, prepares, and distributes department-specific agenda packets, and supporting <br />material. <br /> <br />. Creates and maintains files and records to ensure City information is complete, accurate <br />and current. <br /> <br />Creates databases and enters department data on the computer in order to maintain and <br />generate accurate computer inquiries and reports. <br /> <br />Creates and maintains City web site. <br /> <br />Prepares promotional flyers as directed by Recreation Supervisor. <br /> <br />Provides backup to Customer Service Representative I by answering phone calls, <br />answering questions from the public, or routing calls as appropriate. <br /> <br />Generates permits and answers questions related to permits and process. <br /> <br />Serves as back-up Customer Service Representative I as needed. <br /> <br />Assists Planner with file maintenance. <br /> <br />Assists other staff as necessary. <br /> <br />( <br />'- <br /> <br />Performs other duties as apparent or assigned. <br />
