With respect to 1Ultural resources what should guide comprehensive planning for all of <br />TCAAP? <br />. Like idea of giant green area with access for people, e.g. summer/winter paths. <br />. Like wildlife corridors connecting to south <br />. Watch cost of clean up. Should soccer association pay for that? <br />. What is reasonable to clean up now? <br />. The variety of native vegetation types should be valued and preserved, (evaluate most valuable resources). <br />Connecting corridors is valuable. Do not split areas with busy roads and too much pavement. <br />. Natural resources first - a new model - not more of the same - which has reduced my quality of life. Protect <br />open areas and have most active area for development on the edges. <br />. The Vento Plan was and is the best Plan. We must consider the wildlife that requires a ~ tract ofland and <br />not break it up with development. <br />. Preservation of natural green corridors. <br />. Vento Plan <br />. The corridor must be preserved. <br /> <br />6. Additional questions/comments for the planners <br />. We have a city lhat is divided - this can help us create a whole city. <br />. New Ramsey County facility disrupts connection with site from south. (but there will be an underpass - 20 <br />year plan) <br />. Where is Ramsey County in this? Will they get the Rice Creek corridor? What can they do with it (uses)? <br />. Can have a city square <br />. Will they need another water lower? Will it need to be on the hill? <br />. Terrific natural resources inventory in Guard document <br />. Basic Planning - transportation -likely uses, traffic car, truck, rail, pedestrian? <br />. Freight? Will the rail be used and make it into warehouses/industry? <br />. We need a meeting to discuss athletic field development. <br />. The meetings thus far have been very informalive.
