<br />. <br /> <br />Article III <br />Design <br /> <br />3.01 <br /> <br />Conceptual Design <br />The parties have agreed to the gencral conceptual design of the Project. Such <br />design has been prepared by Tolz, King, Duvall, Anderson, and Associates <br />(TKDA) under separate professional service agreements with the County and the <br />City. Expenses incurred by both entities to date shall be the responsibility of each <br />entity. The County shall accept responsibility, and pay for, a preliminary Master <br />Plan of the site prepared by TKDA. Any expenses incurred prior to the date of <br />this agreement shall be borne by the entity incurring them without any cost <br />sharing or contributions from the other. <br /> <br />3.02 <br /> <br />Phase I Services. <br /> <br />;JJ- ~ B. <br />~ C!--~f'~ <br />Iv> IS~C, <br />\,-J r ? <br />1'ht5 - _? D. <br /> <br />3.02.01 Phase I Services shall include: <br />I. Phase One (A&B) Services <br />Phase I services will include, but are not limited to: <br />A. Conduct programming services to validate the 2002 Ramsey County Public <br />Works Updated Space Needs Study (Appendix AI) for Ramsey County and <br />its partners. <br />Provide complete architectural and engineering services (schematic design, <br />design development, and preparation of construction documents) for the Army <br />National Guard facility, in accordance with the following requirements: <br />Conduct conceptual design work sessions with the Project Review Team and <br />complete schematic design, and design devclopment documents, which clearly <br />illustrates the scope of this project in function, size, and materials. <br />Assist and participate with the County/Partners in acquiring a Special Use <br />Permit from the City of Arden Hills for the facility. The proposer should <br />determine the amount of time and the resources necessary to obtain the <br />Special Use Permit from Arden Hills, and consider this in their fee proposal. <br />E. Prepare statements of estimatcd construction costs and a projected <br />construction schedule to be submitted to the Project Review Team. The <br />amount of design work and the level of drawings provided should be of <br />sufficient content to achieve a Special Use Permit from thc City of Arden <br />Hills. This level is anticipated to be schematic design, dcsign development, <br />and pmiial construction drawings (50'Vo) for landscape and civil specialties. <br />-? F. PartIcIpate with County/Partners representatives in project presentations to the <br />County Board of Commissioners and other public groups interested in the <br />development of the Public Work Facility Project at the direction of the Project <br />Rcview Team. It is anticipated the Contractor/Design Team, including <br />County representatives, will be required to participate in 5 -7 presentations of <br />this nature. <br />IAA f!; G.
