The directional trip distribution for the site-generated traffic was determined based on information provided by Guidant on current employee home addresses and likely travel routes for those employees as well as actual traffic counts and the regional travel demand model that is based on individual cities' planned growth, The 2005 site trip distribution during the A.M. peak hour estimates 47.9 percent of the trips to the campus originate from the north and 52.8 percent originate from the south. During the P.M. peak hour, 59.2 percent of the trips leave the campus and travel south and 41.5 percent travel to the north. The 2020 site trip distribution during the A.M. peak hour estimates that 48.0 percent of the trips to the campus originate from the south and 52.7 percent originate from the north, During the P,M, peak hour, 59.5 percent of the trips leave the campus and travel south and 41.1 percent travel to the north.
