<br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />SEPTEMBER 30, 2002 11 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A. Resolution No. 02-51: Approving the Phase I Services Agreement with <br />Ramsey County for the Joint Maintenance Facility <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch presented the estimate for the Public Works Facility Operations and <br />Maintenance. <br /> <br />Jolly Mangine, Ramsey County, summarized the process they were going to <br />follow, the Arden Hills ownership interest, and the projected operating costs. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Aplikowski moved and Council Member Grant <br />seconded a motion to approve Resolution 02-51: Approving the <br />Phase I Services Agreement with Ramsey County for the Joint <br />Maintenance Facility. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />B. Appointment: Cynthia Y Iiung - Personnel Director/Deputy Clerk <br /> <br />. Mr. Lynch explained last month the Council adopted a change in the job <br />description for this position to Personnel Director/Deputy Clerk. He stated Ms. <br />Young had completed her six-month training period as the Personnel <br />Director/Deputy Clerk and per the City's policy, Ms. Young was evaluated at the <br />end of that period and her performance had been excellent. He recommended the <br />appointment of Ms. Young as Personnel Director/Deputy Clerk on a regular, full- <br />time basis. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Aplikowski moved and Council Member Rem <br />seconded a motion to appoint Cynthia Young as the Personnel <br />Director/Deputy Clerk. The motion carried unanimously (4-0). <br /> <br />C. Livable Communities Contract <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch presented the Livable Communities Contract. Council Member Grant <br />requested this come back to the Council in the future for approval. <br /> <br />10. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant had no comments. <br />
