Monitor the condition of the housing stock as it ages. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />LAND USE CATEGORIES <br /> <br />There are four designations for varying residential density land uses: low density, <br />medium density, high density and mixed residential. <br /> <br />Low Density Residential (LDR) - is the traditional single family <br />residential land use category. A density range of 3-5 units per acre <br />maximum density is allowed. <br /> <br />Medium Density Residential (MDR) - is the apartment and townhome <br />land use category providing for density of up to 8 units per acre. <br /> <br />Bieh Density Residential (HDR) - is the apartment and townhome land <br />use category providing for density of up to 12 units per acre. <br /> <br />Mixed Residential (MR) - is the category designed to provide for a <br />variety and mixture of housing types, particularly in the TCAAP area. <br />This category will allow for those types of units not readily available now <br />in the City. <br /> <br />City of Arden Hills Comprehensive Plan - 1998 <br />Housing <br /> <br />Page 31 <br />
