Based on a conversation between the Administrator and the GSA, it was indicated that the Army has <br />formally declared portions of TCAAP as surplus. The GSA has begun the process to determine if the <br />property is surplus of the entire federal government's needs. The McKinney screening for homeless uses <br />has also begun. Staff will keep the Council updated via e-mail or memo regarding the status of any Federal <br />interest. To indicate Arden Hills interest in possibly acquiring the property through an early transfer, the <br />Development Team has suggested that we send a letter of interest to the GSA and Army. A draft letter is <br />attached for your reference. <br /> <br />· Staff had the regularly scheduled Development Team meeting on Tuesday November 12, 2002. The <br />meeting focused on discussion of the Ramsey County Master Plan Amendment and the Public Works <br />facility. Both of these items will be discussed in more detail at the Council mceting. The next Development <br />Team meeting will take place on November 26th, 2002. <br /> <br />· The Advisory Panel will have a kick off meeting on Tuesday November 19, 2002. The meeting will begin <br />at 6:30 and be held at Arden Hills City Hall. An article regarding the Advisory Panel that appeared in the <br />Focus has been attached for your review. <br /> <br />· Staff met with the City's consulting traffic engineer, the Metropolitan Council traffic engineer, and Bob <br />Benke with the I-35W Corridor Coalition to discuss traffic modeling for the TCAAP Master Planning <br />process. <br /> <br />· Staff is meeting with MNDOT later today to have preliminary discussions about their interest in TCAAP. <br />Follow up information will be provided at the Work Session. <br /> <br />. The TCAAP Bulletin will be printed in the near future and bulk mailed to Arden Hills residents. <br /> <br />· John Hink, Glenn Rehbein Companies, has updated the project management diagram. This is attached for <br />your review. This will also be placed on display in the Council Conference Room. <br />
