Mr. Tolaas said the current schedule is that
Ramsey County is in a position to begin working with a limited number of parcel
owners regarding easement issues, noting there are a couple of property owners
with permanent easements and negotiate with them. He explained that the project
would stop short of the Highway 10 intersection, with further conclusions coming
from the 1-35 Corridor Coalition. He stated no lighting would be indicated, but
some landscaping and trails would be included in the plan. He said the cost for
lighting would be the responsibility of the City. He noted the Ramsey County
mowing program would occur only twice a growing season. He explained that the
bid schedule indicates advertising would occur mid-February.
