<br />9. <br /> <br />Cost of Consumable or Expended Supplies. All items of <br />supply, equipment, or protective gear on the HMRV which <br />were consumed, expended or rendered unfit for further <br />use, at an incident or other activity by a Fire <br />Department shall be promptly replaced by that Fire <br />Department at its sole expense. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />10. Personnel Training. Each Fire Department shall be <br />responsible for the training of its own personnel in the <br />proper use, storage and maintenance of the equipment and <br />protective gear in the HMRV pursuant to the standards <br />approved by the Operations Committee. <br /> <br />II. Non-Exclusive HMRV Use. It is understood that each Fire <br />Department may be obligated to respond to fire service <br />emergencies outside its normal service boundaries, and <br />such activities may necessitate use of the HMRV. Each <br />Fire Department understands that the HMRV may not be <br />available when needed within their own respective primary <br />response districts due to the HMRV's prior commitment. <br />However, in such situations, the Fire Department using <br />the HMRV will use its best effort to make the HMRV <br />available, if possible, to the Fire Department needing it <br />on an emergency basis. <br /> <br />12. Supervision of HMRV at an Emergency. The Fire Department . <br />requesting the HMRV shall be responsible for its use. <br />Personnel responding with the HMRV will report with the <br />HMRV to the requesting Fire Department's designated <br />officer and be subject to the officer's directions. In <br />the event use of;the HMRV at an emergency is expected to <br />last more than one hour, the requesting Fire Department <br />shall supply its own personnel as substitutes for the <br />driver and attendants on the HMRV, and transport those <br />initial responders back to their own station. <br /> <br />13. Wi thdraw from Participation. Any party may withdraw from <br />its participation in this Shared Service Agreement by <br />gi ving written notice to the remaining parties. A notice <br />of intent to withdraw must be tendered no!l~te~ than July <br />1st and shall be effective De~~mber 31sf of.tBe year in <br />which it is tendered. A withdDaw~, par~y waives all <br />rights to any property acquired for use in! C6hnection <br />with the HMRV. <br /> <br />14. Capitol City Mutual Aid Agreement. Except as expressly <br />modified herein, the relationships and obligations of the <br />parties shall be subject to the provisions of the Capitol <br />Ci ty Mutual Aid Association Reciprocal Fire Service <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />. <br />
