<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />DECEMBER 9, 2002 17 <br /> <br />Roseville would like to get out of the Joint Powers Agreement and the Cities of <br />Vadnais Heights and Falcon Heights would like to join. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Larson moved and Council Member <br />Aplikowski seconded a motion to approve the Joint Powers <br />Agreement, contingent upon the review by the City Attorney <br />and approval as to form and language. The motion carried <br />unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />10. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />Council Member Grant stated he had nothing to report, <br /> <br />Council Member Larson stated with respect to the intersection of Snelling and the <br />access road to Bethel, he had spoken with Mr. Kunkle regarding this issue. He <br />stated he believed the potential for an accident at that intersection was high either <br />with a vehicle or a pedestrian. He requested City staff talk to Bethel and Ramsey <br />County about the possibility of putting in small islands for traffic control. <br /> <br />Council Member Aplikowski requested when the retreat dates were firmed up, <br />they get them as soon as possible. <br /> <br />Council Member Rem stated she had nothing to report. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst noted the National Association of Installation Developers was <br />having a conference in January and encouraged someone from Council and staff <br />attend these conferences. He stated he was unsure if he would make next week's <br />Council meeting, He publicly thanked the staff for all of their assistance while he <br />was Mayor. He thanked the residents for giving him the opportunity to serve as <br />Mayor for two terms. <br /> <br />RECESS <br /> <br />Mayor Probst adjourned the Regular City Council Meeting at I I :35 p.m. <br />
