The City Clerk Administrator shall prepare and cause to <br />be inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, the official paper, and <br />in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the <br />making of such approved plans and specifications. The adver- <br />tisement for Consolidated Improvements No. SS-W-p-ST-84-1 and <br />SS-W-P-ST-84-3 shall be published as required by law, shall spe- <br />cify the work to be done, shall call for bids on the basis of a <br />cash payment for such work, shall state the bids will be received <br />by the City Clerk Administrator until 2:00 o'clock p.m. on <br />Thursday, September 20, 1984, at which time they will be publicly <br />opened in the City Hall by the City Clerk Administrator and City <br />Consulting Engi.neer, will then be tabulated, and will sub- <br />sequently be considered by the Council, and that no bids will be <br />considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk Administrator <br />and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check or bid bond <br />payable to the Clerk Administrator for ten percent (10%) of the <br />amount of such bid. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br /> <br />duly seconded by Councilmember Rauenhorst and upon vote being <br /> <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor: All present; and <br />the following voted against: None; whereupon said resolution was <br /> <br />declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
