<br />t;:Li.d 1.7-/ <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR DISEASED TREE REMOVAL <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota (the "City"), will meet in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Hall, 1450 West Highway 96, in the City of Arden Hills, on Monday, <br />September 8, 1986, at 8:40 o'clock p.m., to hear, consider and pass upon <br />any and all written or oral objections which may be offered with respect <br />to the proposed special assessments for diseased tree removal. The <br />proposed assessment roll is now on file and open to public inspection by <br />all persons interested in the office of the City's Clerk-Administrator. <br /> <br />The general nature of the improvement for which the assessments are to <br />be levied is the City's removal of diseased trees on the properties to be <br />assessed. <br /> <br />The total amount of the overall proposed assessment is $2,216.67. <br /> <br />The area proposed to be assessed for said improvement consists of the <br />entirety of the City (i.e. all of the parcels of land located within its <br />boundaries). <br /> <br />Oral or written objections will be considered at the hearing. No <br />appeal may be taken as to the amount of any assessment unless a signed, <br />written objection is filed with the Clerk-Administrator prior to the <br />hearing or presented to the presiding officer at the hearing. <br /> <br />An owner may appeal an assessment to district court pursuant to <br />Section 429.081 of Minnesota Statutes, as amended, by serving written <br />notic1 of the appeal upon the Mayor or Clerk-Administrator of the City <br />within thirty (30) days after the adoption of the assessment and filing <br />such notice with the district court within ten (10) days after said <br />service upon the Mayor or Clerk-Administrator. <br /> <br />The City has no ordinances or resolutions allowing for the deferment <br />of special assessment payments. <br /> <br />Dated: <br /> <br />August 14, 1986 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />BY ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />Charlotte McNiesh <br />Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br />(Bulletin: Aug. 20, 1986) <br />
