SS-83-6 AND W-86-2 <br />(NEW BRIGHTON INTERCEPTOR AND TRUHLER WATER) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Advertisement for Bids for Combined <br />Improvement Nos. SS-83-6 and W-86-2, New Brighton Interceptor and <br /> <br />Truhler Water (the "Improvement"), according to the plans and <br /> <br />specifications (the "Plans") therefor on file in the office of <br /> <br />the Clerk-Administrator in the City, bids were received on <br />May 29, 1986 at 2:00 o'clock p.m., opened and tabulated according <br /> <br />to law, and the bids were received in compliance with the <br /> <br />Advertisement, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction Company <br />("Northdale") is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated <br /> <br />price of $443,738.90, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, implementation of the Improvement is contingent <br /> <br />... <br /> <br />upon the Metro Waste Control Commission awarding a bid for its <br />sanitary sewer/interceptor project, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council desires not to obligate the City to a <br /> <br />contractual arrangement with Northdale unless and until it has <br /> <br />obtained easements from Naegele Outdoor Advertising Company, Inc. <br /> <br />and Arden Tower, a limited partnership, <br /> <br />- 2 - <br />
