On or about February 10, ~986, the Commission and_its <br />Member Cities received an official notice from Group <br />W by and on behalf of its wholly-owned subsidiary Group <br />W Cable of the North Central Suburbs, Inc., requesting <br />approval of a change in control and transfer of ownership <br />in Group W to a group of five Buyers (the .stock transfer <br />transaction.). <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />On February 25, 1986, the Conanission sent to Group W <br />a Municipal Request for Information Regarding Request <br />For Approval and Transfer for the purpose of inquiring <br />into the legal, technical, financial, and other <br />qualifications of the Buyers and their agents with respect <br />to control and operation of the Cities' cable franchises <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />-2- <br />
