<br />and a final full 46' width wearing course, sidewalks and final <br /> <br />restoration. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Engineer explained that the finished section of the <br /> <br />roadway would consist of a 46' wide bituminous street with <br /> <br />concrete curb and gutters, a 5' wide concrete sidewalk along the <br /> <br />west side of Hamline Avenue with a 5' to 7' separation between <br /> <br />the sidewalk and street depending on power pole locations. He <br /> <br />advised that the method of financing of the Improvement had not <br />as yet been determined and that determination of the method of <br /> <br />financing would occur at the assessment hearing. <br /> <br />Engineer Christoffersen, in response to an inquiry by the <br /> <br />Council, stated that the estimated cost of the pathway was <br />$28,000.00. He explained that under M.S.A. guidelines if it is <br /> <br />to be used as a walkway, it can be bituminous or concrete. He <br /> <br />advised that concrete would be more expensive.
