<br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 93-51 <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION <br /> <br />"INTERNATIONAL ALPHA DELTA KAPPA" MONTH <br /> <br />OCTOBER 1993 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Women in education constitute a great portion of the <br />nation's working force, and are constantly striving to <br />serve their communities and nations in educational, <br />civic, cultural, and peace among all people; and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Major goals of Alpha Delta Kappa international <br />honorary society for women educators are: <br />to give recognition to outstanding educators, <br />to build a fraternal fellowship among educators <br />adding to their effectiveness in the promoting of <br />excellence in education, <br />to establish high standards in education, <br />to promote educational and charitable projects <br />and activities enriching the lives of individuals <br />everywhere; and to assist these individuals <br />toward a happy, constructive, and fulfilling <br />life; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED I, Thomas Sather, Mayor of the <br />City of Arden Hills, do hereby proclaim the Month of October <br />1993 as <br /> <br />"INTERNATIONAL ALPHA DELTA KAPPA" Month <br /> <br />in this city and do urge all citizens to honor women in <br />education and to recognize their great contributions toward the <br />profession of teaching and the development of the individual. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN <br />HILLS THIS 12TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1993. <br /> <br />THOMAS R.
