<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />INTERNATIONAL HONORARY SORORITY FOR WOMEN EDUCATORS <br /> <br />4 PROC~ATION~ <br /> <br />INTERNATIONAL ALPHA DELTA KAPPA MONTH <br /> <br />WHEREAS; Women in education constitute a great portion of the nation's working force, and <br />are constantly striving to serve their communities and nations in educational, <br />civic, cultural, and peace among all people, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS; Major goals of Alpha Delta Kappa international honorary society for <br />women educators are: <br />~ to give recognition to outstanding educators, <br />~ to build a fraternal fellowship among educators adding to their <br />effectiveness in the promoting of excellence in education, <br />~ to' establish high standards in education, <br />~ to promote educational and charitable projects and activities <br />enriching the lives of individuals everywhere; and to assist <br />these individuals toward a happy, constructive, and fulfilling life; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, I of the city of <br />do hereby proclaim the month of October as: <br /> <br />INTERNATIONAL ALPHA DELTA KAPPA MONTH <br /> <br />in this city and do urge all citizens to honor women in education <br />and to recognize their great contributions toward the profession <br />of teaching and the development of the individual. <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my <br />hand caused the seal of the city of <br />, , to be affixed <br />this _ day of , 19_. <br /> <br />Mayor <br />
