<br /> 1) Land Use - Land Use for determining surface water management fees <br /> shall be the existing land use at the date of enactment of the Surface <br />. Water Management Ordinance. As land is developed, or redeveloped, the <br /> fees will be recomputed based on the revised land use, <br /> 2) Soils - Soil Conservation Service (SCS) - Type B soils shall be assumed <br /> for determining the curve number runoff index (CN) in the revenue <br /> equation. <br /> 3) Rainfall (P) - A 2" rainfall will be used on the revenue equation. <br /> 4) Runoff Indices (CN) - The runoff indices for the zoning classifications are <br /> as follow: <br /> Zoning <br /> Classifications Land Use CN <br /> R-l Single-Family Residential (1\3 acre lots) 72 <br /> R-2 Single and Two-Family Residential (114 acre lots) 75 <br /> R-3 Townhouse and Low Density Multiple Dwellings 85 <br />, R-4 Multiple Dwelling 85 <br /> 1-1, 1-2 Limited and General Industrial 92 <br /> B-1, B-2 Limited and General Business 92 <br /> 5) Revenue Equation - The revenue equation for computing the runoff <br /> volume (Q) shall be based on the runoff equation in the U.S. Department <br /> of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service (SCS) Engineering Handbook. <br /> The equation is as follows: <br /> Q = (J>-D,2S)2 where S = (1000/CN) - 10 <br /> P + D.8S and P = 2" <br /> 6) Undeveloped properties, without regard to zoning classification, shall be <br /> charged a quarterly fee per acre equal to one-half the fee charged to <br /> developed property zoned as R-l. <br /> D. Credits <br /> Surface water management utility fees may be adjusted under the conditions stated <br />\ below.
