<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />"EXHIBIT A" <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />SMOKE FREE WORKPLACE POLICY <br /> <br />PURPOSE <br /> <br />In accordance with the Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act and in <br />recognition of the need to provide a smoke-free environment <br />for city employees and visitors, Smoke Free Workplace policy <br />is established, effective February 29, 1992. <br /> <br />POLICY <br /> <br />section 1. Smoking of any kind; including pipes, cigars and <br />cigarettes, will no longer be permitted in any city-owned <br />building. <br />section 2. Smoking of any kind; including pipes, cigars and <br />cigarettes, will no longer be permitted in any city-owned <br />vehicle. <br /> <br />section 3. Employees who violate the Smoke Free Workplace <br />Policy will be subject to disciplinary action. <br /> <br />section 4. A visitor who violates the Smoke Free Workplace <br />Policy will be asked to leave the public building where the <br />violation took place. <br /> <br />section 5. Smoking is permitted by City employees and <br />visitors outside of the entrances to all public buildings <br />and on the grounds. <br />
