<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />ITEM 5 - LOCAL GOVERNMENT RESOLUTION <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 94-40 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has the legal authority to apply for financial assistance, <br />and the institutional, managerial, and financial capability to ensure adequate <br />construction, operation maintenance and replacement of the proposed project for <br />its designed life; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has not incurred any costs, has not entered into any written <br />agreements to purchase property; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills has not violated any Federal, State, or Local laws <br />pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or <br />other unlawful or corrupt practice; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills acts as legal sponsor for the project contained in the <br />Outdoor Program Application to be submitted by July 29, 1994 and that Cindy <br />Severtson is hereby authorized to apply to the Department of Natural Resources <br />for funding of this project on behalf of the City of Arden Hills; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, <br />Minnesota: <br /> <br />I. That upon approval of its application by the State, the City of Arden Hills may enter into <br />an agreement with the State of Minnesota for the above-referenced project. <br /> <br />2. That the City of Arden Hills certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and <br />regulations as stated in the contract agreement and described in the Compliances section <br />of the Outdoor Recreation Grant Program Application. <br /> <br />3.
