<br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />DECEMBER 16, 2002 <br /> <br />10 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Council Member Larson requested the Association Committee meet with staff to <br />discuss their request, and to come back to the Council with a formal proposal for <br />Council approval. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Aplikowski moved and Council Member Rem <br />seconded a motion to postpone this issue to the first Council <br />meeting in January 2003. The motion carried unanimously (5- <br />0). <br /> <br />Council Member Larson stated the Parks, Trails, and Recreation Committee <br />would meet tomorrow evening. <br /> <br />Council Member Aplikowski had no comments. <br /> <br />Council Member Rem requested that staff put the North Suburban <br />Communications Commission appointment on the January 2003 Council agenda. <br /> <br />Mayor Probst urged the future Council to continue to be aggressive with the <br />TCAAP project and to "set the bar high". He urged them to get back into <br />discussions with the National Guard regarding the long-term use of the property. <br />He thanked the community for allowing him to serve as Mayor for the last 8 V:, <br />years. He stated it had been a pleasure and he enjoyed the challenges and <br />responsibility. He thanked staff for their work on behalf of the Council and <br />residents. He thanked the previous Council Members he had served with in the <br />past. He thanked the residents who, when called upon to serve in various <br />capacities, had answered that call. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Council Member Aplikowski thanked Mayor Probst for his time and effort over <br />the years. <br /> <br />Council Member Larson acknowledged Mayor Probst's efforts and <br />accomplishments over the years he served the City. <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch presented a plaque to Mayor Probst thanking him for his leadership and <br />dedication. <br /> <br />Council Member Aplikowski requested that Mayor Probst's picture be placed in <br />City Hall. <br /> <br />. <br />
