The motion <br />carried unanimously (4-0-1 ).(Mayor Probst abstained) <br /> <br />C. Approve Appointment of Office Support Specialist <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch stated staff recommended Pang Silseth as the Office Support Specialist <br />with a start date of December 16, 2002. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Larson moved and Council Member Grant <br />seconded a motion to approve Pang Silseth as the Office <br />Support Specialist with a start date of December 16, 2002. The <br />motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />D. Payment No. 18 - Rochon Corporation <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch presented Pay Request No. 18 from Rochon Corporation for work <br />completed during May 2002 through November 2002. He also presented a request <br />for Change Order No.8 from Architectural Alliance. He noted staff had reviewed <br />these and found them to be acceptable and appropriate. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Larson moved and Council Member <br />Aplikowski seconded a motion to approve Payment No. 18 - <br />Rochon Corporation for work completed May 2002 through <br />November 2002 in the amount of $129,813.65 and authorize <br />Change Order No.8 from Architectural Alliance. The motion <br />carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />10. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />Council Member Grant stated City Engineer Brown and Council Member Grant <br />had received a letter from the Lake Josephine Association regarding the Fernwood <br />Channel. The letter informed them that the working committee of four individuals <br />had been put together to work with the City. He indicated they had requested that <br />a starting point be a survey done for Fernwood Channel, so proposals presented by <br />the City Engineer could be evaluated. He asked for the Council's approval. <br />Mayor Probst noted the City needed to have an agreement that the association <br />wanted these improvements. <br />
