,_ t_,

DBC 1 & 2. Systems are designed to deliver primary outside air to the Fan Powered Variable Volume
Boxes at controlled temperature and dew point. Multiple heat recovery systems associated with units are
designed to use the building's exhaust air as a heating and cooling source for the incoming outside air
required for building ventilation. Field Installation Verification and Operational Perfonnance Reports have
been completed and deficiencies noted.

Functional Performance Testing has commenced. Commissioning Team recommended control sequence
changes and engineer and manufacturer are in the process of developing new sequences to meet design
criteria. Remaining Functional Testing will be accomplished when new seqnences are implemented.

A Performance Curve will be generated once new sequences are installed.

Fan Powered V A V Boxes. Systems are designed to deliver a mixture of required outside air and return air
at the required temperature and dew point to maintain desired temperature in each classroom. Systems have
been tested and balanced. Balancing of 20% of the boxes has been verified and accepted by the
Commissioning Team.

Each room is equipped with an occupancy sensor which indexes the Fan Powered Box from unoccupied to
occupied. In unoccupied mode the primary air is reduced and the room temperature is reset to save energy.

Field Installation Verification Testing has been completed.

Functional Performance Testing has been completed and verified.

BAS Svstem. Building Automation System is fully operational, with critical alarm dialing to District's
service provider. All system sequences have been verified. Temperature and humidity sensors were
verified for calibration. Valves and damper actuators were also verified. Systems graphics have installed
and verified.

Humidiry sensors are critical to the operation of the system. They should be checked on a routine basis for
accuracy. We recommend each school have at least one cahbrated sensor on hand for replacement
purposes.

A complete list of deficiencies has been generated and passed to control contractor for action.

7

.

.

.
