<br />. <br /> <br />Pinewood Elementary School <br />Final Commissioning Report <br />Systems Summary <br />20 August 2002 <br /> <br />All inslalled mechanical systems have been inspected for Installation Verification, Operational and <br />Functional Performance. <br /> <br />The Building Automation System has been completely tested and verified that it functions according to <br />design intent and approved submittal documents. <br /> <br />A detailed description of each system and any discrepancies are included in report. <br /> <br />Converter. Converter is designed to reset heating water temperature based on outside air temperature. <br />Field Installation Verification Report, Operational and Functional Performance Tests show system to be <br />properly installed and perform as designed. <br /> <br />CAU-l. This is tbe make-up air unit for the boiler. On a call for burner operation CAU-I will be <br />commanded to start~ unit must be proven on before burner can start. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Field Installation Verification Report and Operational Performance Tests show system to be properly <br />installed. <br /> <br />New Hil!h Efficiencv Dual Fuel Burner. The new burner has been installed and is operating on gas. A <br />new underground fuel oil storage system has been installed with leak detection system and alarm. <br /> <br />Fuel oil system was tested and operated by District"s installation contractor. <br /> <br />The leak detection system is not complete. <br /> <br />Chiller. Chiller and associated pumps are designed to deliver chilled water to all coils at a temperature 3 <br />degrees above the dew point of the building exhaust. Field Installation Verification Report shows system <br />to be properly installed. <br /> <br />Operational and Functional Performance Test show system to operating as designed. <br /> <br />CooIiI\l! Tower. System provides controlled condensate water for chiller operation. System also provides <br />chilled water to an tenninal units when outdoor air temperature reaches switchover point of 40 degrees. <br /> <br />Field Installation Verification Report shows system to be properly installed after noted deficiencies had <br />been corrected. <br /> <br />We recorrunended an automatic drain and chemical feed be installed to enhance performance of system. <br />This has been implemented. <br /> <br />Functional PerfoTIDance Testing was completed in conjunction with chiller testing. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />6 <br />
