<br />ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES <br />JANUARY 13,2003 <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Rem moved and Council Member Larson <br />seconded a motion to strike the designation of Customer <br />Service Representative II from the Organizational Chart and <br />add a new designation titled Arden Hills Utility Billing Clerk <br />as a part-time position currently held by Sandra By!. The <br />motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />MOTION: Council Member Holden moved and Council Member Grant <br />seconded a motion to amend the language from "Personnel" to <br />"Human Resources". The motion carried unanimously (5-0). <br /> <br />10. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />Mr. Lynch stated the Joint Maintenance Facility proposal had increased in cost by <br />$800,000. He stated he would be presenting further information to the Council <br />next Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at their Work Session. Council Member Grant <br />requested staff determine the City's portion of the annual maintenance fee, due to . <br />the proposed size increase. He also requested staff obtain from the County a <br />detailed breakdown of the proposed construction/development costs. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski asked the Council if they were in agreement with setting <br />neighborhood meetings with the Arden Hills residents. Council Member Grant <br />suggested instead of referring to the meetings as neighborhood meetings, they <br />refer to the areas by directions (i.e. north, south, east, and west). <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski requested staff place this issue on the agenda for the Council <br />Retreat. <br /> <br />Council Member Grant stated Ramsey County League of Local Governments <br />was holding a meeting in the near future. <br /> <br />Council Member Holden thanked the Council for their support. <br /> <br />Council Member Larson stated the second meeting of the new Fire Board would <br />be held this Wednesday at the Shoreview City Hall. <br /> <br />Council Member Rem stated Ramsey County Engineering Services public forum <br />would be held at the New Brighton Family Service Center on Tuesday, January <br /> <br />. <br />
