Is it
known yet whether this connection will be to Hamline, Lexington or some
other point along CR 96? This is not clearly stated in the AUAR.

/0 (CotthYUrl)

Page 34, 2005 Recommended Traffic Improvements

I'm very pleased to see the recommendation to add a new traffic signal at
Hamline Ave and CR F. This intersection has been problematic for quite a
number of years. Accidents occur regularly at this intersection, so the
sooner a signal is installed here, the better. Also, a signal will make it
easier to cross Hamline by breaking up traffic periodically. Presently,
there is a 3 mile stretch without traffic lights between CR 96 and Lydia
Avenue, making it a popular alternative to Lexington and other local
freeways. And therefore, I have concerns about adding 2 additional traffic
signals on Lexington Avenue. I fear this may deter many commuters from
using Lexington Avenue, thereby pushing more traffic onto Hamline Avenue in II
order to avoid traffic light delays.

Page 49, Noise Level Monitoring

I would expect the noise levels recorded on July 9th to be below the average \
level, since testing occured on a Tuesday following a long holiday weekend.
Many commuters were still on vacation, and in addition, this is the time of ,I ~
year that school is not in session, thus reducing traffic levels even i
further.

Sincerely,
Sherri Leu
