Other
documentation (e.g. Figure 5 indicates 750 cars for #5). Which is correct?

2 - PaGe 5 Footnote Definition

The footnote indicates, "surface parking areas may not be replaced by parking
ramps, but may be replaced by other cover types". There is no explanation of
"cover types".

3 - PaGe 7 Buildinq Heiqhts

Table 2 provides building heights. The stated heights measured in feet can be
misleading because there is no consistent reference point. Guidant should
restate the building heights in elevation above sea level. Note that this data is
available and was presented in earlier presentations and is contained on a
master display board of the site buildings and ramps.

Building data should be submitted both with respect to the top of the roof and top
of the penthouse. Parking ramps shouid be stated both to the top of the retaining
wall structu res and penthouse.

Residential neighbors to the west have long been concerned that the top (i.e., as
measured from sea level) of the proposed ramp #1 retaining wall would not be
higher than the roof of its neighboring building C roof. This may require that the
ramp be dug into the ground and the proposed ramp orientated such that any
penthouse structure be located on the east end of the structure. This
accommodation was made for many proposed ramps on the northwest side of
campus as was expressed during many meetings. P - 54 implies that ramps will
be constructed two levels below grade to minimize visual impacts.

1 I

~

\

I
,

;;
