Proposed Amendment to the Rice Creek North Regional Trail Master <br />Plan <br /> <br />Overview <br /> <br />Ramsey Courtty is requesting that the City evaluate a proposed park master plan amendment to <br />the Rice Creek North Regional Trail Master Plan. <br /> <br />Update <br /> <br />Since this item was tabled at the December 16, 2002 City Council meeting, staff has been <br />working with both Ramsey County Parks and the Development Team to address issues <br />associated with the amendment. <br /> <br />After evaluating and trying other options, a different approach has been taken then what was <br />originally presented. As Council may recall, the amendment was originally presented for <br />approval conditioned on execution of an agreement between the City and County. The <br />agreement would have been intended to address transportation, environmental, and related <br />issues. Since the agreement was getting far too complicated, Ramsey County has attempted to <br />
