All <br />work is supported by revenue provided by <br />the $80 million bond referendum, passed <br />by the community in 1999. Also, <br />site work has begun for tlw new bus lane <br />and additional parking. New construction <br />areas wili be ongoing through the end of <br />the 2002-2003 school year. <br /> <br />Ongoing in 2002 - 2003, <br />Summer 2003 and Fall 2003 <br />. Mounds View High School, <br />Arden Hills <br />With the exception of the new theater, <br />all areas of Mounds View High School me <br />in use as intended, including the new music <br />suite, athletic areas and the space for the <br />Family and Consumer Science (FACS) <br />program. <br />The theater will be fully completed and <br />utilized in spring 2003. Life safety and <br />HVAC work in the athletic areas wili be <br />completed in summer 2003. Minor room <br />and corridor finishes will be done in <br />summer 2003 as well, posing no disruption <br />to students and staff. <br /> <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />III Irondale High School, <br />New Brighton <br />vVhen students and staff arrived th is <br />fall, they saw completed site work that <br />included an expanded cafeteria, a <br />renovated kitchen, two new classrooms, <br />and a renovated mod/tech room. The new <br />gymnasium structure is taking shape. as is <br />the new entrance and the new music area. <br />Work will continue throughout the 2002- <br />2003 school year with completion <br />anticipated for October 2003. <br />II Turtle Lake Elementary School, <br />Shoreview <br />At Turtle Lake Elementary,an existing <br />courtyard will be converted to additional <br />classroom space.A large new addition on <br />the south side will create the new main <br />entrance area and expand the <br />administration area.
