<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Proposal to Provide Consultant Services to Assist with the Search for a <br />New City Administrator for the City Of Arden Hills <br /> <br />This proposal outlines the approach of MDA Consulting Group, Inc. to assisting the City of Arden <br />Hills with the search and selection of a new City Administrator. As we show in the materials that <br />follow, our experience with selection of senior public sector officials is extensive. Although we <br />have outlined a particular approach to respond to the RFP, our intention is always to work in <br />partnership with our clients, tailoring and adapting the services we provide based on current needs. <br />As will become obvious in the information that follows, MDA's approach is flexible and our <br />objective is to support the City of Arden Hills in designing and implementing the selection process <br />that the City, Mayor, and Council wants. <br /> <br />Description, Background, and Services Provided by MDA Consulting Group, Inc, <br /> <br />MDA Consulting Group was incorporated in the State of Minnesota in 1981 as an <br />industrial/organizational psychology consulting firm. The firm specializes in the application of <br />psychological and human resource practices in the development of organizations, groups, and <br />individuals. MOA's goal and business objective is to provide the highest quality of broad-based <br />consulting assistance and services to its clients to enhance organizational and individual <br />effeetiveness. <br /> <br />MOA Consulting Group, Inc. is a participant in the Minnesota Small Business Procurement <br />Program. MDA's State of Minnesota current vendor number is 015985-007. A letter eertifying <br />MOA's status as a woman-owned business is included in the appendix. <br /> <br />Ovcr the years, MOA has provided consulting services to several hundred client organizations <br />locally and regionally. MDA's services fall into the following categories: <br /> <br />. Talent Management: Selection strategies, assessment, and assistance for executives and <br />managers, retention strategies, and succession planning. <br /> <br />. Leadership Development: Executive coaching, action learning programs, team building, <br />and management and leadership training. <br /> <br />. Organizational Change: Change management, strategy implementation, merger <br />integration, and organizational culture building. <br /> <br />In 2002, MDA was actively involved in providing consulting services to over 100 client <br />organizations in a variety of industries and in both the public and private sectors. Client <br />organizations MDA worked with this past year include Cargill, General Mills, Ecolab, Lutheran <br />Brotherhood, Aid Association to Lutherans, ING Reliastar, Pentair, Polo Ralph Lauren, NRG, <br />Reliant Energy, Tennant, Marvin Windows, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Minneapolis and St. Paul, <br />and the City ofMimleapolis. Taleut Management services---especially assessment and selection of <br />managers and executives-represented over 50 percent of our revenues for these and tlle remainder <br />of our client list. <br />
