Intention to Comply with All General Requirements MDA Consulting Group is committed to providing selection services that are valid, fair, standardized, and nondiscriminatory. Further, we are committed to ensuring that women, minorities, and other protected class candidates arc not harmed by adverse impact in selection procedures. We comply with all conditions and provisions of all applicable federal, state, and local statutes, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to human rights and nondiscrimination, and equal opportunity and affirmative action. This includes Civil Rights legislation and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as the relevant provisions of the Minnesota State Statutes. Further, we are aware of the requirements ofthe Minnesota Data Practices Act as it pertains to the privacy of applicant data. We always fully comply with the Minnesota Statutes Chapter 13 which contains the relevant provisions goveming data privacy in selection processes. MDA's Expectations of the City of Arden Hills MDA's intention is to work in full cooperation and partnership with the City of Arden Hills. To complete the project in a timely and responsive manner, we will need appropriate personnel from the City to: . Meet with MDA in an initial planning meeting to discuss options and design the process that best serves the City's needs and interests . Provide any additional written information, reports, or documentation that may be helpful to MDA. . Assure that the Mayor and Council are available for interviews and meetings. . Designate a staffmember(s) to serve as a liaison to MDA and provide other assistance to the project as appropriate. . Assume responsibility for payment of expenses (e.g., advertising, postage, long-distance phone, and candidate expenses, etc.). . Be willing to resolve problems or concerns that arise from unanticipated events collaboratively with MDA, including payment for additional services, if requested, that are outside of the scope ofthe project as described above. Summary and Conclusions We believe that our outstandiug qualification is our knowledge and understanding of the requirements of successful public sector leadership, particularly at the local or municipal level. MDA is committed to designing and providing selection services that are valid (measuring what we say they will measure), relevant (tied directly to the qualifications for the position), fair (treat all candidates consistently), and standardized (will be experienced similarly by all candidates).
