We hope you will become familiar with the high quality of professionalism that we bring to executive search services. Most communities and professional staff people recognize the name Springsted as a financial advisor and management consulting firm that delivers a wide range of financial and economical development services to local governments. However, over the years we have assisted many clients behind the scenes evaluating and selecting key management staff. That changed in 1999 when we acquired a firm on the east coast named Municipal Advisors Incorporated. They were a smaller firm similar to Springsted in their service ethics and product mix; with one key difference. an emphasis on executive search. They are known from the Midwest to the mid- Atlantic for their quality executive search skills. Though we have undertaken several successful executive searches in Minnesota, we are still not a "household" name to most communities regarding executive recruitment and selection. In order to become a known player in this specialty in Minnesota, we are prepared to showcase our abilities to select clients. The proposal includes a comprehensive executive search with several distinct process including written reports and steps requiring slaff and/or Council involvement. Should the City of Arden Hills wish to scale back any of the less critical processes, Springsted would adapt the process as desired. We are proposing a professional service fee of $8,500 plus out-of-pocket expenses as described in our proposal. This is a substantial discount from our normal fee outlined in our response in the Fees section, which is $15,355. We recognize providing first-class, quality service to the City of Arden Hills we will enable us to enhance our recognition and reputation as a provider of executive search services to local governments in the Midwest.
