<br />. <br /> <br />Ardenhills.PW2003-04.doc <br />Agreement PW2003-04 <br />March 26, 2003 <br /> <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT <br />WITH THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS <br /> <br />Agreement between <br />the County of Ramsey <br />and the City of Arden Hills <br /> <br />Ramsey County Account P3170 <br />SAP 62-696-10CTB <br /> <br />Reconstruction of Highway 96 <br />between US Highway 10 and White Bear Avenue <br /> <br />Attachments: <br />Exhibit A -- Estimated Cost Participation <br />Sunnnary <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, by and between the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, a municipal <br />corporation, hereinafter referred to as the "City," and Ramsey County, a political subdivision of the State <br />. of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as the "County"; <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County and the City desire to reconstruct Highway 96 between US Highway 10 <br />and Lexington Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this segment of Highway 96 has been designated by the Minnesota Department of <br />Transportation as eligible for funds from the County State Aid Highway Tumback Account; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this segment of Highway 96 has been designated as State Aid Project <br />62-696-10CTB; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the subject road segment is located within the City of Arden Hills; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, plans for S.A.P. 62-696-10CTB showing proposed alignment, profiles, grades and <br />cross sections for the improvement of Highway 96, as defined herein have been presented to the City; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the project includes, in addition to other things, grading, paving, concrete curb and <br />gutters, storm sewer, bituminous path, turf establishment, and utility adjustments and betterments; and <br /> <br />. WHEREAS, the grading provisions require acquisition of certain right of way and temporary <br />construction and slope easements prior to construction; and <br /> <br />PW2003-04-1 <br />
