This unit re~.ets its discharge air temperature betWeen 550 and 950 based on the zone temperature set point that can be adjusted at the local thermostat. This unit is not operating according to the original design specifications as described in section 3.09 in control section 15950. Furthennore, the current operation ofthe unit does not match the sequence of operation as described in the as built drawings delivered to the owner from the controls contractor. ThislJnit has a control-wiring problem that could potentially damage the equipment and should be corrected as soon as possible. Refer to the functional test results for this unit and the low temperature protection device section. Please see this section for further infonnation on all observations. . Audiovisual Room: This is the control room with all of the equipment needed to broadcast from the city council chamber. The owner reports that the room overheats and creates an uncomfortable work environment. The original drawings state that the room should receive 150 C.F.M. of air from air handler 2, but this amount is not enough air to provide adequate cooling. Additionally, if the main council chamber is callJng for heat, this area's temperature control problem is only increased. This area could be better served if a small, self-contained cooling unit was added to offset the heat load of this space. .
