He stated the Maintenance <br />Facility Task Force had met to review the plans. <br /> <br />Mayor Aplikowski requested a letter be sent to the PTRC thanking them for their <br />time and efforts with respect to their suggestions on the Highway 96 underpass <br />proposal, and that the Council would go on record that in the future should an <br />underpass be necessary, that an underpass was the choice of the Council. She <br />requested the Council take another look at the Parks and Trails Comprehensive <br />Plan at some point in the near future. She noted the St. Paul Business Council <br />group was meeting at City Hall next Monday, April 7, 2003. She stated on <br />Wednesday, April 9, 2003, the League of Minnesota Cities was requesting that <br />City Council, business people, residents, etc. go to the Capitol to express their <br />displeasure with the Governor's budget plan. She asked the Council if they had <br />any interest in pursing this.
