ARDEN HILLS REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 31, 2003

6

.

Raymond Muchel, 4466 Pleasant Drive, stated his lot was only 53 feet and he
was being charged for 110 feet. He asked why he was being assessed for that
amount.

Carol Abrahamson, 1228 Carlton Drive, noted their street had already been
improved, except for three feet. She asked if the City planned on taking the street
out and widening it at that point.

Mr. Brown stated he agreed with the objection letter she had submitted to the City
and noted her assessment amount would be adjusted.

Shelly Hutchcroft, 1325 TiIIerLane, asked what would be done regarding the
curb and drainage issues. She noted they currently have a severe drainage
problem on their property.

Mr. Brown replied they were looking into this issue and would be addressing this.

.

Grel!: Clifford, 4422 Pleasant Drive, noted a few years back he was assessed for
road work completed on Amble Drive, and now he was being assessed again. He
requested his assessment amount be adjusted because he had already paid for 93
feet of work completed during a previous road improvement project. He noted his
property was a corner lot.

Dave Wilken, 1225 Inl!:erson Road, stated two years ago, the Council had agreed
not to complete this project in the near future. He noted the condition of the road
was not that bad and that the rating system was flawed. He further stated his
money going toward the road assessment was money taken from his children's
college fund. He noted his property value would not increase with the road work
completed.

Andy Holewa, 4480 Pleasant Drive, stated photographs showing drainage
problems were presented at the initial PMP meeting. He asked what the City
planned to do with the curbs that were bad.

Mr. Brown replied they would do spot repairs that would match the existing curbs
in the area.

.

Steven Zilmer, 3363 North Dunlap, submitted written comments.
