He stated he did not feel as comfortable with this proposal as the <br />other neighbors were. He asked how much more traffic would this development add to <br />Lexington Avenue. He indicated, with the proposed vacation of Fernwood Drive, this <br />would add to the traffic on Lexington Avenue. He stated he did not believe that <br />CuInrtliilgs Park Drive was a good spot for a traffic control light. He asked what was <br />going to be done in the future for the residents of Karth Lake to be able to get out onto <br />Lexington Avenue. <br /> <br />Chair Sand closed the Public Hearing at 8:28 p.m. <br /> <br />Commissioner Ricke moved, seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman, to approve <br />Planning Case #02-25A, preliminary plat, with the following recommendations md <br />conditions: <br /> <br />1. A trail easement being provided on the west portion ofthe property in conjunction <br />with the final platting of the property. <br /> <br />2. The installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of "CUfllffiings Park Drive" <br />and Lexington Avenue at Guidant's expense. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />Reconstructing "Cummings Park Drive" at Guidant's expense in accordance with <br />plans md specifications approved by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Execution of a development agreement for developer installed public <br />improvements. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />5. Provision of an access agreement to Xcel Energy. <br /> <br />6. Complimce with applicable provisions of the City Code md related ordinances. <br /> <br />7. Satisfaction of a park dedication requirement as approved by the City CounciL <br /> <br />The motion carried unanimously (6-0). <br /> <br />Commissioner Ricke moved, seconded by Commissioner ZiInrtlerman, to approve <br />Planning Case #02-25B, Planlled Unit Development Master Plm, with the following <br />recoInrtlendations and conditions: <br /> <br />1. Approval of a PUD Permit md Development Agreement. <br /> <br />2. The phasing schedule follow the revised schedule proposed by staff. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />An lJpdated traffic study to be completed at the conclusion of Phase I and at the <br />conclusion of Phase II Development. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Approval of the Final Alternative Urban Areawide Review Mitigation Plm. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />5. Submittal of a revised Drainage md Utility Plan as approved by the City <br />Engineer. <br />
