<br />~ <br />~HILLS <br /> <br />CITY OF ARDEN IDLLS <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY - STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 03-40 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION <br />Adopting the Final Assessment Roll for <br />Karth Lake East and Ingerson Neighborhood Streets <br />2003 Pavement Management Plan <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council of Arden <br />Hills, Minnesota met on March 31, 2003, April 14, 2003 and April 28, 2003, heard and passed upon all <br />objections to the proposed special assessment roll for the improvement of the Karth Lake East and <br />Ingerson Neighborhood streets as hereafter provided. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Arden Hills, Minnesota: <br />Such proposed special assessment roll, as amended pursuant to City Council action, a copy of <br />which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special <br />assessment roll against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to <br />be benefited by the proposed improvement in the amount of the special assessment levied against it. <br /> <br />Such special assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over a period of <br />ten (10) years for reconstruction projects and over a period of five (5) years for mill and overlay projects. <br />The first installment of such special assessments shall be payable on or before first Monday in January <br />2004 and shall bear interest at 'the rate of 5.5 percent per annum from the date of the adoption of this <br />special assessment resolution. To each subsequent installment when due shall be added interest for one <br />year on all unpaid installments. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification of the special <br />assessment to the Ramsey County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with <br />interest accrued to the date of payment, to the City Accountant, except that no interest shall be charged if <br />the entire assessment is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and the property owner <br />may, at any time thereafter, pay to the City Accountant the entire amount of the special assessment <br />remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31 of the year in which such payment is made, Such <br />payment must be made before November 15 or interest will be charged through December 31 of the next <br />succeeding year. <br /> <br />The Deputy Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this special assessment to the <br />Ramsey County Auditor to be extended on the property tax lists of the county.
